The first batch of 83 women soldiers was inducted into the Indian Army’s military police by the Corps of Military Police Centre and School (CMP C&S) at the Dronacharya Parade Ground in Bengaluru on Saturday.
10th Pass/ Matriculation/ SSLC or equivalent with 45% marks in aggregate and minimum 33% marks in each subject. In grading system, minimum of D Grade (33%-40% marks) in individual subjects or grade which contains 33% marks and overall aggregate of C2 Grade or equivalent corresponding to 45% marks in aggregate.
Women Military Police selection process will consist of Documentation (Checking of documents), Physical Fitness Test, Medical Examination and Written Exam. After closing date of online application process, a cut off list will be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks obtained by candidates in 10th Class. Thereafter admit card will be issued only to shortlisted candidates proportionate to the vacancies to appear in the recruitment rally.
Candidates will be screened through recruitment rallies which are scheduled to be conducted at Ambala, Lucknow, Jabalpur, Belgaum, Shillong and Pune on given date and time as mentioned in Admit Card. Candidates will be allotted venue based on their home districts. Final location and date of the recruitment rally will be given on the admit card.

Candidates must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disability likely to interfere with the efficient performance of military duty in all weather and across all terrains. The selected candidates will have to appear for medical examination during the recruitment rally as per medical standards.
Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearms i.e from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body are not acceptable and candidates will be barred from further selection.
Candidates declared medically fit will be allowed to appear in the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) or Written Exam (objective type) at nominated venue. Location, date and time for Soldier General Duty (Women Military Police) written test will be intimated at rally site and through Admit Card.
Only one ward (daughter/ son) of Service/ Ex-Servicemen/ War Widow/ Widow of Ex-servicemen can avail bonus marks in the written exam. Bonus marks will be accorded on qualifying in the written examination. Only one relaxation can be availed on producing the Original Certificate. Bonus marks in the written exam (CEE) will be awarded as follows:
Written exam result will be declared through the official website joinindianarmy.nic.in (separate letter will not be sent to the candidate). Qualified candidates will have to report to concerned ARO (Army Recruiting Office) for documentation. Thereafter training of selected candidates will commence at the Corps of Military Police (CMP) Centre and School, Bengaluru. On successful completion of 33 weeks of training at CMP Centre & School, Women MP Recruits will be attested in the rank of Sepoy
